UKPIPS is delighted to announce that following its registration as a charity in Scotland in February 2014, it is planning to hold a “Patients & Carers Weekend” on 7th and 8th June, 2014 at the Stirling Management Centre, Stirling FK9 4LA.
This event will largely replicate a similar event we ran in England at the end of November 2013 which all patients and carers who attended, rated very highly.
Our plans for Stirling are even more ambitious as we are anxious to secure the support of patients with a Primary Antibody or other Primary Immune Deficiency– and their carers, to help push forwards on our plans for PAD and PID needs for Scottish patients in Scotland using Scottish funds.
Places for the event are very limited and are offered strictly on a “first come, first served” basis. UKPIPS is covering delegate costs for food, coffee, meals and accommodation from 11.00am on Sat. 7th June until 3.00pm on Sun. 8th June.
If you click here you can download a flyer containing information about the event. It would be great if you could use this flyer to promote the event. A registration application can be downloaded by clicking here.
If you have never visited the Stirling Management Centre, there is an excellent website showing the facilities at http://www.smc.stir.ac.uk/ Go and have a look!
This promises to be a fun weekend with lots to talk about and if you don’t know anyone with a Primary Antibody or Primary Immune Deficiency at the moment, you certainly will by the time you leave.
The Trustees and Volunteers from UKPIPS who will be taking part are greatly looking forward to meeting you – but don’t delay in making your reservation. Remember, if you leave it too long to book your place, it could be too late.
